CPE, CPMM, CPS Certification Program Grant
AFE Certification Grants are made available to enable facility professionals, associates and educators to attend a face-to-face AFE certification training and testing program. The AFE Foundation accepts applications for grants up to a total of $2000 to attend any AFE certification program, from applicants who meet the following criteria:
- Applicant must meet the AFE certification criteria and must be approved to undertake certification.
- Applicant is not otherwise eligible for student scholarships.
- Applicant has not attempted any other related certifications in the past 12-months on a scholarship, bursary, subsidy or grant.
- The applicant has demonstrated financial need via the application.
- Applicant has clear professional goals that will be furthered by AFE Certification.
Membership in AFE is not a requirement to apply for this grant. Members of AFE Foundation Board of Directors and members of the AFE Board of Directors (nor their spouses or dependents) are not eligible for funding under this program.
The AFE Foundation's Scholarship Committee will consider all requests received within the deadline date and will make recommendations to the AFE Foundation Board. The AFE Foundation Board's decisions are final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
Payments will be awarded:
- As a voucher to AFE for the certification program fees
- The balance (up to a total of $2,000) will be paid to the recipient as a check for travel, lodging, and other reasonable expenses following completion of the course and submission of an approved AFE Travel Expense Reimbursement Form.
Applications must be post-marked by August 1, 2011 and will be available for program within the following 12 months. Decisions of the scholarship judges are final. Applicants will be notified of results by email, no telephone calls please.
