Self-improvement is always in season. So take time now to enroll in something that will help you to be a more successful facility professional year-round and in any weather: AFE's Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) program.
CPEs are filled with success stories of job promotions, substantial pay raises and exciting new career opportunities as a direct result of becoming a AFE certified. There is simply no better way to demonstrate your expertise in all areas of plant/facilities engineering than by becoming a CPE.
Virtual CPE classes are an extended review of the material in the CPE Review Pack, and provide double the instruction time of the week long classroom review. The review takes place over a longer period of time, allowing working professionals to dedicate the appropriate time to prepare.
The class will be led by instructor Jim Taylor, CPE, CPMM of Machinery Management Solutions, Inc. Each session will include a review of material to complete the sample problems listed in the book. Participants must have access to a telephone and computer. All participants must complete the CPE application with an employment verification form to be eligible for the exam. The fee to participate is $2400 for non-members, $2200 for AFE members for 4 modules. The fee includes an application packet, exam fee, and the CPE Review Pack.
Designed to review material by module, the CPE Virtual Review allows participants to take module exams. Classes meet weekly on Wednesdays from noon to 2 pm eastern time.
