Certified Plant Maintenance Manager Course Set for February, March '09
AFE will conduct the Certified Plant Maintenance Manager course online in February and at a classroom in Indianapolis, Indiana in March, 2009. Applications are being accepted now. Eligibility requirements are current employment as a maintenance professional and two years of experience.
Course participants will become proficient in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, work flow-planning and scheduling, computerized maintenance, investment returns and Total Productive Management. Upon successful completion of an exam, they will earn the prestigious CPMM credential.
The live, interactive online course will be taught 12-4 p.m. ET on February 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23 and 26.
The Indianapolis course will be taught at downtown site 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 16-20.
Maintenance professionals also may opt to pursue the CPMM course and be tested on their own, at any time throughout the year. The same application requirements apply.
As a study aid, AFE offers the "CPMM Review Pak" containing the topics contained by the exam.
