CPE Live Review Course


Since 1975, thousands of people have earned AFE’s prestigious Certified Plant Engineer credential. They have distinguished themselves by pursuing, achieving, and retaining competence in all the disciplines of the plant/facilities engineering field. As a result, according to research, a CPE earns a higher salary than his or her non-certified counterpart. As times change, so does the program. Areas covered in the CPE training and testing include electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, economics, management, federal safety regulations, HVAC operations, maintenance, controls, and instrumentation. Anyone who successfully completes this program is truly well rounded. CPEs are everywhere. They are employed in various public and private establishments. They serve the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Corps of Engineers, U.S. Departments of State, along with Defense and Energy. The businesses they keep running manufacture everything from food to pharmaceuticals, aluminum, and plastics. Some CPEs are self-employed consultants others are executives.
