- Make employees feel welcomed and part of the group with an effective new employee orientation program.
- Environment is the key. Create an atmosphere in the workplace that promotes teamwork and focuses on customer service.
- Involve employees in information sharing so they feel trusted and partners within the organization.
- Participative management allows employees to control and supervise themselves, and lets them be more proactive in customer service (internal and external).

- Offer flexible work schedules in order for employees to balance and meet increasing time constraints.
- Perform job design and re-design to add variety to repetitive jobs, provide team projects to employees in isolated work positions, and/or outsourcing or eliminating of mundane tasks.
