Greater Philadelphia Chapter 6 Meeting

 

How are your estimating/planning skills? Do they need updating?
 

Once again one of AFE Chapter 6's most loyal sponsors is opening their facility for our 2017-2018 kick-off meeting after a long, rainy summer. Come out to the offices of Javan Engineering, in Ft. Washington to hear two men with almost 75 combined years of experience in the projects/construction industry give us a refresher, tips and newest techniques in estimating and planning.

 

 

Director of Construction

Mr. Tracy L. Riddle is a reliable construction and development professional with over thirty-four (34) years of experience in managing complex Industrial, Pharmaceutical, and commercial projects. He has a proven career in completing multiple small and large multi-million-dollar construction projects on time and under budget while ensuring emphasis on safety with overall clients’ satisfaction. Tracy has excellent inter-personal and communication skills. He has successfully completed projects through coordinating trades and building positive rapport with architects, engineers, local permitting officials, vendors, and clients while maintaining costs, and schedules. He is experienced in contract negotiations, project planning and estimating, impending design issues, document preparation, expediting resources, building code and regulations, and site management through certificate of occupancy.

PROJECT MANAGER/ENGINEER

Mr. Joe Narwich has over forty (40) years of experience in project management and engineering design. His primary focus of experience in project management is in the design and construction of manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical laboratories, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and specialty chemical process plants. His engineering design experience includes pneumatic and hydraulic bulk materials handling, HVAC and industrial ventilation, piping, equipment specifications, and process support facilities. His most recent experiences include pre-project planning through mechanical completion for Design Build projects. Mr. Narwich has served twice on project teams that have been awarded “Project Team of the Year,” by the Delaware Valley Chapter of Project Management Institute. Leader in implementing of Construction Industry Institute’s (CII) standards for pre-project planning, project cost control, benchmarking, and lessons learned. He has a proven track record of organizational and people skills required to successfully complete complicated projects while maintaining long term relationships with clients.
