A Message from Your Chapter Board President

AFE Chapter 187 Members and Friends,

Happy New Year, and I hope this message finds you well.

As we begin 2026, I am honored to serve as President of AFE Chapter 187 and to reach out to both our current members and those who have supported our chapter along the way. While Chapter 187 is still a relatively new chapter, approaching our two-year mark, we are proud to be part of the Association for Facilities Engineering, an organization with more than 110 years of history supporting facilities professionals nationwide, and across the globe.

In a short time, AFE Chapter 187 has begun establishing itself as a place for practical learning, professional development, and meaningful connections within the facilities community across South Carolina. This year, our focus will be on continuing to grow that foundation through strengthening engagement, delivering relevant technical and professional programs, as well as engaging facility tours, and supporting career advancement through education, credentials, and networking.

Whether you are actively involved today, considering re-engaging, or simply staying connected to the profession, you remain an important part of our chapter’s growth and success. We have an energized board, a solid foundation, and exciting opportunities ahead in 2026. In the coming weeks, you’ll hear more about upcoming meetings, programs, and ways to get involved.
