2020 AFE March Madness Bracket Challenge
Welcome to the 2020 AFE NCAA Bracket Challenge! We look forward to experiencing another great NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament while having a little fun with our Members and friends. To join the fun, please review these Official Rules and submit your bracket by 11:59 AM EST on Thursday, March 19th. Pool URL: http:// afeworldwide .mayhem.cbssports.com
a. Participants (also referred to as “Players”) must be 18 years old and have a valid email address and working telephone number.
b. Participants must register a profile on CBSSports.com.
c. Participants are not required to be AFE Members to play.
d. AFE Board Members and Staff are eligible to participate and claim prizes.
a. AFE Members may submit up to two brackets. AFE Membership will be verified.
b. Players, who are not Members of AFE, may submit one bracket.
c. Winners will be determined via the highest point totals for each round. Points will be accumulated by selecting the correct team from each scheduled match-up. Point values will increase for each round of the tournament. Points will be calculated and awarded by CBSSports.com.
d. In the event of a tie, a winner will be determined via a random drawing from the Players involved in the tie.
a. Grand Prize (1): One winner will be awarded FREE registration for any AFE credentialing program – i.e. either the CPE, CPMM, CPS or CPS en Espanol in either self-study or live review course format. To claim this prize, the winner must: (i) Meet the eligibility requirements for the certification selected (Eligibility Requirements); and (ii) Contact Joshua Watkins at (571) 329-6067 to arrange enrollment. Winner may defer enrollment for up to five years from the date of prize announcement. Winner shall be responsible for her / his own travel and accommodations to and from the location of the course administration site if winner elects to claim registration for a live review course. This prize bears no cash value and is non-transferable without the expressed written consent of the AFE Executive Director / CEO.
b. Second Place (2): Two winners will receive an invitation to attend any AFE national event or program, including but not limited to the 2020 AFE Founders Day Reception (Founders Day 2020) or the 2020 AFE Annual Business Meeting & Leadership Conference (ABMLC 2020), free of charge. Winner shall be responsible for her / his own travel and accommodations to attend the selected event or program. Winners must contact Libby Michael at (571) 395-8770 within thirty days of prize announcement to claim prize. This prize bears no cash value and is non-transferable without the expressed written consent of AFE Executive Director / CEO.
c. Third Place (3): Three winners will receive a one-year AFE Membership or membership renewal at the Member’s current membership category. This prize bears no cash value and is non-transferable without the expressed written consent of the AFE Executive Director / CEO.
d. Additional Prizes: Throughout the tournament, Players may win additional prizes for achieving the highest point totals per round or highest percentage of correct selections throughout the tournament. Additional Prizes will be offered at the sole discretion of AFE; furthermore, Additional Prizes must be publicly announced to be valid. Additional Prizes bear no cash value and are non-transferable.
IV. Other Considerations
a. Players must maintain current and valid contact info on their CBSSports.com profile. AFE bears no responsibility to discover any Participant’s whereabouts or contact information.
b. All prizes must be claimed within thirty days of prize announcement, unless otherwise specified by these rules. Unclaimed prizes may be awarded to the Participant with the next highest point total at the sole discretion of AFE.
c. Players hereby agree to join the AFE mailing list and receive periodic emails and newsletters from AFE. Players may opt-out of AFE emails and newsletters at any time.
d. Prizes will be announced via the official AFE social media accounts. Players should follow AFE on Facebook and Twitter
