This talk will focus on the drivers leading to electrification of the automotive industry and the impact of this transition on the electric utility industry. It will explore how facilities engineers can participate, the incentives available and opportunities to monetize EV charging.
Presenter
The presenter, Paul H. Kydd, PhD, has had a varied career ranging from Research and Development management in power generation for GE, and synfuels for Hydrocarbon Research Inc., to a succession of technology innovations and company launches in electronic chemicals and electric vehicle conversion and charging. He is the author of over 50 journal publications and a book, as well as 45 patents.
